I found that the flashes will communicate by optic transmission, but not by radio transmission, so set accordingly. The st-e2 will communicate with the Godox 360ii-C, but the st-e3-rt will not. The Godox can also be put in s1/s2 mode so they are triggered by any flash. I don't know if Godox did this so you will purchase the x1-c transmitter or extra flashes, or they were unwilling to pay Canon for the ability to have the flashes communicate by radio frequency which is more sophisticated than optical transmission. see less
