I would say no, the weight of it would make the camera really heavy. Not to mention you'd have to clip the battery pack somewhere on your person. This plus any lens with weight to it would make the whole setup unwieldy.

FT 16 transmitter is fitted on the body side of the flash via usb,then the hot shoe only acts as the stand of the flash.or you can fire the AD360 via the hot shoe direct without the FT 16

It works with my a7rii with a XTR-16 Wireless 2.4G Remote Control Flash Receiver plugged into it's side and a X1T-S I-TTL 2.4G Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter. Since the hot shoes on all the A7s are the same, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with an a7riii.

The AD360 will fit into the hotshoe of the Odin receiver and it will fire when triggered from the Odin transmitter. However, you cannot use the Odin to communicate with the flash; it will not turn the power up and down remotely, for example.
