This ball head works fine for what I need -- to mount on top of a light stand to hold a small video light. For light duty, it is small, light weight, and works well. I would not try to mount a DLSR on it, but it should be fine for a point & shoot or mirrorless camera. The fit, finish, and mechanical aspects are very good, and the ball head locks securely.

I purchased a nearly identical ballhead about a year ago which had significant flaws. Even with the flaws, it was a bargain at $5. Recently I needed another ballhead, so I purchased this one from Andoer. It is exactly the same design, but much better executed, and with all the flaws fixed. I immediately bought two more---because you never know when a good ballhead will come in handy.
