    This product may be hit and miss depending on your television. It must be that because this is too simple of a product to have user issues. It worked fine for me.

    Anything that works right out of the box is prime for me. I recommend this adapter to anyone who has run out of game input plugs.

    I had to get this AND a hdmi cord (about $5) after getting a new tv to be able to use my wii - This did the trick and was the cheapest one I could find. Not sure why they are so expensive but it shipped quickly and I am happy with the purchase.

    Works great for my needs. I have yet to try the audio out jack, but the hdmi portion works as described and allows me to completely get rid of component cables and have only hdmi into my receiver

    I had a problem because I wanted to wall-mount my new Samsung TV, but the TV's component video inputs were on the rear panel. There was simply no clearance for the cables. I needed to connect the Wii console using HDMI! The HDMI connectors face the side of the TV rather than the rear, so they don't need any extra clearance. Then I found this. I've had this adapter connected between my Wii console and my TV for over a year now, and it's worked like a champ. Crystal-clear picture and sound are sent to the TV over the HDMI cable. (I have never used the 3.5mm audio jack on the adapter.) I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

    This item did exactly what it said!! I was able to connect my son's Wii to an HDMI port on his new tv. The Wii doesn't put out in HD but we had no more RCA ports to connect to--this solved the problem!!

    Super item that allows me to play my 'old style' Wii on our new Panasonic HD TV. Would recommend this to everyone who does not want to give up their Wii as yet! Plugged it in and it was up in a heartbeat. Love it!

    Allows me to play Super Smash Bros. Melee and Project M with negligible lag on a 2ms response-time monitor. Even allows Auxiliary Audio to plug into my sound system. Fantastic for hardcore Smashers.
