I love this controller! My heating device does not have a thermal sensor or remote control, so I had to get up at night to turn the heating on and off several times, so I bought this controller. I did not use my heating device, but I have been using ceramic heaters for more than a month, and it solved my headache problem. The operation is very simple and the work is very simple!

Given its intended use, this unit may not be worth less than five stars, but I am sure that many people will be interested in this unit and will control the temperature of my own apartment in this hot summer of Southern California. My problem is that I live in an older apartment building, and my air conditioning unit, a wall-mounted box, has been around for more than a decade, although it works in refrigeration apartments, but the thermostat above is not operational. . I'm looking for a plug-in thermostat device to operate the air conditioner (it has a special plug, the "legs" of the plug are horizontal instead of vertical) so I don't have to jump to turn off the device at all times. So I bought this unit and a small adapter that allowed me to plug the "vertical leg" plug of the thermostat into the "horizontal leg" jack of the single A / C plug. I inserted it and configured the device in the appropriate Celsius unit for Determine how much heat and cold I want the department to have. Well, it does not work because the device uses a small "stick" to determine the ambient temperature and does not detect the actual temperature. I ignored the number on the device, just adjusting it to the room itself is correct. This is feasible. The power cord of the unit and the separate "temperature bar" lines are as prominent as the thumb, and I have to find ways to hide them while placing the "wand" in a place where reliable ambient temperature levels can be measured. So it's good enough for me if the form is a bit ugly. But I don't have to jump up and down every half hour to turn on and off the air conditioner as before. So, if you need an obsolete air conditioner thermostat that can be used, or a thermostat such as an electric heater, I admit, This is your first option, whenever you want, I can recommend that you fix this until your temperature is correct and that Stand up and look at the rope hanging on the wall.

I bought two of these to use with oil-filled radiators in my greenhouse. They work great at maintaining a set temperature (although as others have said the units are calibrated only in Celsius). BUT be careful not to exceed the maximum load rating. In the recent cold weather I turned one heater up to its maximum setting which must have overloaded the thermostat's relay, so now it will turn on but won't turn off. Not the unit's fault - entirely mine, just be aware there isn't much margin in the maximum load rating.
