To be honest man the thing is junk. the way i figured it out was to put air regulated at 67 PSI on it which match my pump fuel pressure and tighten the spring to where this regulator would hold it at 39 psi and the idea was for vacuum to raise it to 45 at high idel. well the spring was to strong for this setup at high … see more To be honest man the thing is junk. the way i figured it out was to put air regulated at 67 PSI on it which match my pump fuel pressure and tighten the spring to where this regulator would hold it at 39 psi and the idea was for vacuum to raise it to 45 at high idel. well the spring was to strong for this setup at high idel it stayed at 39 psi which would trigger ecm to send a trouble code for running to lean so inless your use for a carb which is for 7 to 8 psi i would tell you to trash it. it's more a flow control valve then a regulator. oh yeah did i say that it's junk. to answer your question a regulator only regulates and One Direction and using air to pass through it is how I figured out which direction that was without taking it apart i do not recommend for fuel injection whatsoever see less
