      I actually bought this to hold the unused roll of adding machine tape as it feed into my adding machine. The plastic tabs on the adding machine broke off and this has fixed my problem. I am glad I remembered seeing this item on the bank teller desk. The base is wide enough to keep a whole roll of paper sturdy.
