This Multi-Power Battery Pack is used for Canon 6D Camera only, has the same functions as the original grip BG-E13. It holds up to two LP-E6 battery packs or six AA Batteries, offering double-length shooting time.

Use of one or two LP-E6 Li-ion batteries or six AA/LR6 batteries.
Equipped with a vertical-grip shutter button, Main Dial, etc. to ensure shooting in the same way as horizontal grip.
With storage slot that the camera battery cover can be stored into its storage slot.
Shutter Release, Multi-controller Button and Multi-function Button.
AF Point Selection Button, AE lock/FE lock button and AF Start Button.
With a 1/4" srew hole on the botton.

I have 10 BP-511A batteries for my old 5D that I would like to use on my 6D. Is the battery cartridge standard and is it possible to use it if it was available?

  • The Canon battery I have is labeled LP-E6. I'm not sure about the 5D battery size but this grip only holds one size of battery and its the one that fits the 6D. If they are different size batteries this will not work with 5D.
