Yes, you can adjust all through smart device.

It does. You can set the Number of shots and the number of stops you want between each shot. Note that you you have to set the exposure or Aperture for the first shot and a stop interval and number of shots.

The Nikon D810 is an excellent purchase and well worth the money for the quality images. You can reset your D810 to default settings by pressing the QUAL button (top left of camera) and the +/- button (top right of camera) at the same time for more than two seconds.

There is a list of cameras that will work with this equipment. It should be on the website, I think. Otherwise you should ask the manufacturer.

I wanted to tether without cables to stumble over and to send to laptop immediately and then upload right away via internet from laptop. Unit, among others I tried, did work...but, man...so slow in image transfer. I would take a shot...being within 5 feet of laptop and would count, "1 one thousand...2 one thousand...3 one thousand..." by the time I got to about 4, the image (RAW and jpeg) would appear. Too slow for me. Not that hardwired tethering was much, faster, but why have to wait SO long after just one shot? My creative juices have dwindled down and the model is bored stiff. 3/4 of my time waiting for images means 3/4 of each hour for paid model is wasted. BUT...if you are NOT in a rush (product photography, landscape, etc.) and dont want to have to finish shoot and THEN transfer images, get this unit. It DOES work with ease and dependability. I decided to (for MY purposes only) connect an external MONITOR to my camera to give immediate feedback on composure...angles...lighting, etc. About 1.5 seconds between shots and access. I could also turn the monitor toward model if I chose to, so she could see her pose PRIOR to the shot and immediately after as well. All in all, unit IS very durable and functions as promised!

pro: no wifi code needed just turn it on find the network and go has true full-screen mode unlike case air con: quite large app consistently freezes making you do a toggle dance transfer speed about 5 seconds so I used this for a high school sports portrait gig ....hey you, come here, stand here, smile *takes pictures* now give me your parent's money....NEXT! so you would think with this much back to back I wouldn't lose connection.... not once was the iPad more than 2 feet away from me yet after each kid I would have to toggle between review mode to get pictures to flow into the ipad for example take a few pictures go into review mode pictures start flowing in you stop so the kid can look at them....they say keep the 3rd one you move on to the next kid you start taking pictures and nothing happens you gotta stop your work flow to toggle and then have the pictures come in .....for every kid if they can fix this and make it small this would be the one

This thing is needed for work, BUT it is super slow, even with an Ethernet. My internet is fast and the camfi software just doesn’t seem to want to keep up. It will often freeze, uses a lot of battery and needs to be charged after every use. If this thing worked quickly I would love it. Takes about 3 seconds to take a shot (not terrible), but if I want to view the shot in either viewing mode, it takes at least 10-30 seconds to load it in full view. And that’s just one shot! I need something more instant for work, but have yet to find anything. Any recommendations?

I got this because i wanted to be able to do my own wedding portraits. As you can hopefully see in the tablet, I have the Camfi app up. I changed all the settings for the camera on the tablet and also focused the picture and took it from there. I took all the portraits using the timer feature. The only problem I have with it is somethings I have a difficult time getting the camera to connect to the camfi. It takes a few tries. But once It connect I don't seem to have any issues. I wouldn't suggest this for a setting where you have limited time and you are rushed. If you have a good amount of time to mess with it until it connects, then it is pretty awesome.

I really like it. Works like a charm when paired with my iPhone 6S and I have not issues with anything. it works fine to take a picture but did not download the same when I tried.I emailed the Support guys and they responded back pretty fast saying they are having new OSX app coming out in a few days. I guess I will try it then and see if I give this 5 stars....But overall, I really like it.

It does the job, with minimal issues. My use case includes remote video trigger/view on a 7dii as a second camera in video shoots. I did not fully test remote photo trigger. I intentionally tried to get the app or device to crash to see how bad 'bad' could be during a video shoot, but was unable to find the consistent cause of the crash. When it did crash or hang, a quick app or camera reset got me up and running again quickly. Since it will be my backup/coverage camera, I'm ok with it. Pros: iOS support, easy setup, relatively reliable. Cons: non replaceable battery, app MUST be in foreground (set ipad/phone to not sleep) - this is actually an Apple quirk. To compare, I've used the hacked version of the CamRanger with the TP-Link router and modified firmware with a Samsung phone. I'm much happier with it.

By OK I mean there were about 3 or 4 times in the course of two hours where the link froze-up between my camera (Nikon D7000) and my phone (Galaxy S7). Everything came back after exiting and rebooting the app on the phone but if I was shooting anything other than real estate (like something involving people or quick shooting) I think I may have been a bit more pissed an impatient. Also know that once "Live View" is turned on on the app, all camera functions (menu, Fstop, SS, etc...) are rendered inoperable until Live View on the app is turned off again. In fact, I think turning this on and off was part of my problems when I had the app freeze-up from time to time. Also, I wish that live playback of the shots would be quicker, it takes about 15 or so seconds after shutter release before you see the image you just shot updated on your phone/tablet. All-in -all I think I will keep this setup since I am hoping there will be some software improvements down the road AND I can get away with the (too often) reboots of the app that are necessary since I am primarily using this unit for real estate photography. If you do not have the luxury of spending the time to reboot the app on occasion, then this issue may be a deal breaker for you.

this is WAY better and the apps are really nice to control the camera. i used it the other night to take night sky shots. so much easier to control the camera in the dark with my phone than the camera controls! one small nit the apps show the contents of both mem cards and both raw and jpegs so if you record raw/jpeg for shots and on 2 mem cards you'll see four preview images for each shot taken.Really recommend it.

It is easy to setup, easy to charge, easy to use, easy to learn. I have a promote systems promote control and this compared to that, is like kindergarten to a PHD program. Very prompt response to tech questions ,even telling me that the items I inquired about would be added by end of month via software upgrade. Phenomenal device. it is an unbelievable value.

it worked out almost perfectly. The whole wireless thing was still kind of a bust, but luckily the CamFi also has an Ethernet port! After installing the CamFi software on a Windows 7 PC, connecting the CamFi to our switch via Ethernet, and doing a little mild configuration (static IP and so forth), I finally got the camera to copy all its photos over to a PC as JPEGs with the click of a button. It would have been nice for the wireless option to work, but we are probably getting better speed and responsiveness over the wire anyway. I'm very happy with this solution.
