I don't know. I don't own the nikon d750. For now I have problems with the Nikon d90!!!
By Mauro Mariani on February 28, 2018
I do not think so as it works as its own WiFi device.
By Larry S. Frankel on April 12, 2018
Actually, we suggest you use the device with one camera and one phone. It will be more stable in this case. Sincerelly.

Thanks for your question. Yes, CASE Remote works well with Nikon D5300.
By Jacinto on February 2, 2018
I wish I could answer that question. Unfortunately, mine died within the first week of using it and their customer support is horrible.
By EDC on January 24, 2018
Yes, but the issue is it does not support live image preview. Below cameras have the same issue: Canon: 5D, 450D, 1000D Nikon: D80, D3100 and D3200.

I purchased the Case Remote trough their Kickstarter as I loved the idea of using my cellphone to control my camera. The first one that I received was, unfortunatly, defect but I contacted their support and we tried to troubleshoot first to see if it was really defect or not. When it turned out to be defect they offered me to return it to them so they could look at it and I was going to get a replacement. The replacement arrived really swiftly and it works great, I can't wait to play around with it more.Their support is really nice and they respond very swiftly to emails as well. I am very happy with this product and can really recommend anyone this.

Before I get started, I want to clarify that the CASE Remote Wireless Camera Controller is ideal for use with static photography, not action. It enables the user to have a live view from a remote location through a connected device (i.e. iPad, iPhone, or Android product), in order to perform different functions with your camera, as explained below. If you are in the market for a product that will assist you with remote viewing for video (e.g. “action” and/or “movement”) photography, the CASE Remote Wireless Camera Controller will not be able to help you. Construction The CASE Remote Wireless Camera Controller (CRWCC, for short) arrives in a reinforced black box with a short USB charging cable, thumb-screw tension mount, tether cord, and quick setup card. The male-to-male USB cable that is required to link the CRWCC to your camera is not included (as explicitly stated on the setup card) and is a separate purchase. In terms of quality, the unit feels relatively lightweight, although not cheap. It is also handy that the WiFi password for the remote is on a sticker on the base of it, however, I do wish that there was a proper instruction book included in the box, or at least a reference to the instructional videos from the manufacturer on their Youtube channel explaining how to setup the CRWCC properly. That said, in terms of the product quality, I am happy with the construction and see no flaws or deficiency in the build. Use After you have downloaded the CASE Remote app to your device and synced it to the CRWCC, you are ready to take some pictures! With this device, I was able to do the following with my Samsung Galaxy S5: 1) Automatically or manually adjust the focus of the picture that I wanted to take 2) You can adjust the shutter speed, ISO, and aperture 3) Take several different photos of my subject 4) Save pictures onto my phone, which I could upload from my phone’s gallery later on 5) Alternatively, I could use the CASE Remote app to upload photos to Facebook 6) As others have mentioned, I can add GPS locations to pictures from my phone Unfortunately, there were a few flaws, the largest of which was the delay whenever I changed the settings for picture effects. As an example, when I decided that I wanted a faster shutter speed to take a series of photographs of my dog, the CASE Remote app took over three minutes to show the change. While this is not a huge issue in a casual setting, I was not able to take the pictures that I wanted because 1) dogs are not patient, and 2) it was frustrating waiting three minutes for something that should only take a few seconds. Not to mention that if this had been a professional photo shoot, the possibility of losing a shot could mean whether or not you are able to put food on the table. Lastly, I never noticed any issues with performance of the CASE Remote unit itself. While it did take over two hours to charge from being completely dead, I did not experience problems with the power button intermittently not functioning or the WiFi signal being sporadic. All-in-all the hardware aspect of the CRWCC was top-notch. Final Say The CASE Remote Wireless Camera Controller is a nifty way to turn your standard camera into a wireless web cam. It enables you to take pictures of static images and retain them on your cell phone, tablet, or other compatible device, to upload to social media or email to friends, or to simply store for posterity. There are some bugs in terms of performance and being able to adjust the settings for taking optimal photos, but the manufacturer is diligent in updating their app and does seem to be addressing these problems in a consistent manner. At this point, though, I do believe that the pros outweigh the cons, but I caution this purchase to those who know their way around a camera. This is a product that would most benefit those who understand how and why you need to adjust the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed, as well as dropping over $100 on something that allows you to remotely review what you can see through the viewer of a camera. Thus, with the flaws that exist, I give this product a solid 4 stars of 5. A nice gift for the photog in your family, and one that will improve over time as the manufacturer works polish the CASE Remote app.

When this device works, it is quite handy as it streams a live view from your camera and allows you to wirelessly control most of its functions. The Case Remote Box connects to the top of your Canon or Nikon DSLR (with an included mount). Using the USB cable that comes with your camera, you connect your camera to the Case Remote Box. The camera then thinks that it is connected to a computer, but instead its signal is broadcast over WiFi by the Case Remote Box. That WiFi signal is picked up by an Android or iOS device (AFTER you download the Case Remote App on your cellphone, or tablet). In my case, I was NOT able to view a streaming image from my camera because LIVE VIEW is not compatible with my Canon 5D. But, I was still able to control all of the settings as well as control the shutter & start/stop video recording. It is EXTREMELY frustrating that the TOMTOP description does not list which cameras are compatible with LIVE VIEW (as that is a main selling point of the device). After communicating with the manufacturer, I was able to obtain a list of compatible cameras. Please see the imaged attached to verify that your camera is compatible with LIVE VIEW. Though I was frustrated with my experience, I do not feel it is fair to down rank the Case Camera Remote only because my camera is not compatible with LIVE VIEW. If your camera is on the list, the device really does work well and is quite handy. If you film blogs, or YouTube videos, you will be able to see a streaming image of what your camera sees while you film. Or, you can set up a photo booth at a wedding. Or, you can create stop motion video using a tablet to view the image and snap pictures remotely so that you can adjust your characters without walking between the camera & your subject over and over and over.

I got this case remote because I needed a way to do time lapse photography and remote shooting. I shoot with a Nikon d750 and I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. Make sure to watch the YouTube videos for this product before using it. The product didn't come with a manual so I wasn't sure how to use it at first. Fortunately their videos explaining how to use the product are pretty good. Pros: - Easy to connect to. Just turn it on, plug it into your camera, and use your phone to connect to its wifi signal then open the app. The password for the wifi connection is on the back of the case remote. - Allows you to see live view on your phone or iPad from across the room. You can then focus by tapping the screen, auto-focus, or manually focus using the app. - You can take pics, save the pics to your phone, take time lapse pics, take multiple pics to combine later for hdr, or take multiple pics for focus stacking later. - It allows you to use the gps in your phone to add location to your photos. - You can easily share the photos you take on social media using the app. Cons: - There is a several second delay when focusing. This is a useful device for static subjects only. Don't try to shoot action. - I noticed that every once in a while it can't focus correctly. I'll tap on an object and it misses focus. Usually if I try it again it works right away. You have to realize the limitations to the device to really understand how to use it and enjoy it. It's not for action sports. I would only use it for studio work or static photography. I could see this being an awesome tool for macro photography. Whatever mode you have set in the camera limits what you can do in the app. For example if the camera is set in aperture priority you won't be able to change shutter speed. Put the camera in manual mode for full control. If your phone can't view raw files you'll need to shoot in JPEG to see the photos in the app. I'd really like if you could zoom in close on whatever is in your live view screen so that you can make sure it's in perfect focus. All those things said I think it's an awesome tool for remote shooting. It still needs some work and I really wish the AF was faster but I'm really happy with it.

I received my CASE Remote, and played it with my Canon 600D. I love it very much, especially the live view function and time lapse. You can just set it up and leave it there, really useful! The good: You can do time lapse, focus stacking, HDR, wireless transfer photo back, remote setting of almost everything! Live view through your phone or pad, make your shooting much easier. I contacted their customer support, through their web www.caseremote.com, very good. Their youtube channel has many demo video, save me lot of time. The price is very competitive. The bad: I also have Sony and Pentax camera, their customer support told me CASE Remote may support them next year. Hopefully they can support more cameras. Overall, it is great device at this price, really useful.

Update: Following the new software design, I've upgraded my review from 3 to 4 stars. The new interface has improved this unit significantly. CASE Remote is a decent alternative to Camranger, but there is a huge difference in functionality. I own two Camrangers, and they are my primary choice for wireless shooting. I bought three CASE Remotes for backup cameras. The software interface is ok, but not nearly as refined and smooth as the Camranger. There is room for much improvement, but then they cost less than half the price of Camranger. The biggest complaint is that the menus/controls are somewhat buried, and the thumbnails are too tiny. Camranger has all major controls on a single screen, and large thumbnails for easy review.
