what is the line weight range (in lbs) and lure weight range (in lbs) that this rod can handle?

A

  • I used 15lb test and used both 3 and 4 ounce wts. I packed it into my backpack and walked up a beach to surfcast with. Haven't had a fish on yet but handled good long casts plus seaweed pretty well!!

Does this rod have a hollow handle like other ones do to store some gear?

  • There is a threaded cap that unscrews to reveal a hollow handle, however when the rod is collapsed I doubt if there is much room for storage.
