It actually works. I have not used it on my guitar. but I use it on my banjo at church. It is connected to a digital mixer board and works fine. It has both a volume and EQ control. With the banjo it works fine I'm not sure how the quality would be with a guitar.

Give it a shot. I bought mine for a banjo since they're naturally 'tingy' and it hasn't been too bad. May sound good having both running since you'll be able to dial back either. The worst that could happen is you'll hate it and be ought a few bucks
