This was ordered in the afternoon and arrived the following morning. Exactly as described, I wanted this for a Manfrotto type quick release plate. I am not disappointed. The quality of machining is exceptional, the Manfrotto plate goes straight on and the locking wheel has an excellent and nice feel with a good tight grip screwed and locked in. I would say possible better than the original Nikon release. I could not have asked for a better replacement or better service and cannot recommend enough for use with any tripod or monopod and not just an Arca type head.

Like the other reviewers, I'm very happy with the purchase. Rock solid replacement for the rubbish original Nikon foot and clamps to my Markins Q3i ballhead with no movement whatsoever The only bad words to say about this product is the spring loaded safety catch to release the foot from the lens collar is a little stiff and squeaky. A dab of light grease should resolve this, and it doesn't affect the operation so I'm not going to downscore. The thumbscrew on the side functions very smoothly and locks solidly in place Buy with confidence

Well made and light foot, clip a little loose but well secured with screw. Fits any standard Arca Swiss plate and gives you the quick release and ability to adjust balance that the Nikon standard foot doesn't. After a few months of use, showing signs of scratching on the paint, and the safety clip is slightly weedy so not 5 starts but recommended to anyone looking for a good solution for the 70-200mm lens.

I've recently switched to an Arca Swiss tripod head and wanted to reduce weight and possible slippage when mounting the 70-200. I was suspicious about the possible quality of something as cheap as thing when a better known manufacturer was offering the same item for about 70USD. I was wrong to worry. The piece seems to be very well engineered and was a perfect fit for both the 70-200 and the Arca Swiss head, with both locking down really tight. Seriously good value for money, I'll post another review in a year or so after this has seen some in the field wear and tear.
