First of all my review is strictly from a practical use perspective. I haven't really had any experience with any rail system outside of checking it out as a display on store. With that said this is very useful. The price is only 20 bucks. Pros with this plate and rails is that for it being all aluminum is relatively light, also is strong. None of it feels cheap. I used it to hold my 60D and a follow focus and a shoulder rig and It felt solid. The cons, as I said this was all aluminum but the knobs are plastic, strong but plastic. also the rails are hollow and have no thread in them. So like I saw on other types of this same system you cant expand the rails your best bet is to change them. You have to add you own plates and clamps if you want a quick release with your system but that's not a biggie as I have extra arca plates and clamps I got from Andoer as well. I used this rig to record video for a convention for two days straight shooting for about 4 hours each day and I don't have a complaint. Nohing came loose or fall off it just held my camera, good size lens and follow focus. This works for me.
