It's just a speaker. I suppose you could use it to alter the sound of your voice a bit, but I imagine that you would have to have the PS4 microphone sitting down by this speaker. You might also get some static or feedback from it (or rather, through the PS4 microphone).

If you charge it every night you should be okay for several hours of usage, I remember when I used mine that I thought the battery life was pretty nice.

Really, it's quite impossible. I regret my purchase. The device is very inaudible and the variations are virtually indistinguishable. Sorry to say, but this item is best left for kid's play... "Ages 9and up".

It makes your voice sound like a robot, that is, very electronic and not like a real female. I thought it would be fun to use to create a female elf character but it just made everyone laugh.

This voice changer works great. The multiple voices are all clearly different. The volume can be changed, and at maximum volume it is extremely loud! The only problem is the microphone cord is rather short, making attaching the speaker to your pants difficult if you're tall. Other microphones can be used as long as it has a 3.5 mm TRS phone connector. I definitely feel like I got what I paid for.

This was one of the best quality products available for the price. Most others were cheap pieces of toy Halloween garbage, but THIS Loudspeaker was just right. Sturdy yet lightweight, Came with comfortable, adjustable headset microphone. Rechargeable battery and cord included. Easy to use. Best feature was the volume control, it could be set to LOUD without being too distorted. Wish it had a few more voices, but it was perfect for super hero, transformer robot and monster voices.
