Pros:Works great in backtrack 5, cracked a WEP wifi in under 7 minutes, my first time using a linux OS. Adapters come with built in drivers in windows 7 - some problems with this, see cons. Cons:Built in drivers to windows as well as generic ralink drivers work fine, but only at 150Mb to my TP link router (TL-WR941ND). I bought these for the 300Mb feature, so its damned annoying it doesnt work. a TP link branded 300Mb adaptor connected just fine and synced at 300Mb. When connected to an XP SP3 machine without the drivers installed, it caused havoc on the machine. USB mouse stopped responding properly and the system lagged so badly i couldnt install the drivers. Did not attempt a fix. The software (note: driver only install works) bundled with the adapters (and the latest update from ralink in late 2010) do NOT work in windows 7 x64, SP1. It refuses to connect to networks and actually breaks windows own wireless connections, making wifi networking unusable until the software is uninstalled. Bottomline:If you dont have the issues i did with getting a 300Mb connection, you'd probably be happy running just the basic drivers without the software. My problems are all software related and not hardware, so its quite possible a driver update will fix these issues. eventually.
