The Apture V-Mic D2 is not USB compatible. The Blue Snowball Ice has a USB cord and is very popular

As long as the cameras have a mic port then yes. I’ve even plugged it into my laptop. Those cameras should have audio/visual outputs.

For the price and quality, I'd grab this if I were you. I did much research before choosing between a Rode mic and the Aputure V-Mic D2, and I have to say the Aputure blows away the Rode, both in price and options. As for sound quality, I prefer the Aputure because it gives much less blown-out bass tones to people's voices when recording. The Rode simply has way too much bass to its quality. When filming short films for YouTube, etc., the Aputure sounds much more natural than the Rode. The Rode mics sound too much like a DJ's speaking from a booth when it records people talking.
