these lights are great for indoor and outdoor parties. we've used them for birthday, and new year celebrations and they make the event a lot of fun, when used inside smaller indoor setting one light will be amazing, outdoors i would suggest using three of them strategically placed,and with out other lights on. i will be purchasing a few more for an outdoor house party, the price is very good for what you get.
