How exactly does this item clean the fretboard?

A

  • Clean may be an overstatement. It has microfiber on the bottom as well so it wipes off both side of the string, and thr fretboard at the same time. If your fretboard is already clean, and you use this product after playing, it will stay clean. But it will not b enough to clean a dirty fretboard.
