this type program is for the esc version below 3.0 if your esc is V3.0 or above, you need a muilt-program box to program it. hope that can help you.

You can set up how much power output you want on the card, so you should be able to just tell it to go no higher than 50%

When I bough this card, from my understand thing, this is made for the second firmware, which also works for the first firmware. The newer looking card is for the third firmware. I believe this is correct, I could be wrong tho.

Yes it will work. I use it on my car i also have a 120 amp esc in my car and it works just fine.
