Connect the Neg (-) side of the load to the large meter terminal that has the small RED wire attached. Connect the other terminal which has the small BLACK wire attached to the Neg (-) voltage source (Fig A). This measures current in amps. Looking with the terminal block on the left, attach a wire from the top most terminal to the Pos (+) voltage source. This measures voltage in volts (Fig B): Fig A. Source (+) --> (+) Load (-) --> (Red) Meter (Blk) --> Source (-). Fig B. Top Terminal on Block (Vin) --> Voltage source Pos (+). Wattage is calculated by the meter internally. The display can be hardwired using the enclosed USB cable. If you want a wireless meter connection, open the back of the display and connect the enclosed jumper wire to the circuit board. Connect the wire ends to a voltage source (Red wire Pos (+), Black wire Neg (-). When current goes away from the Pos source the amperage is positive. When current flows into the source, the amperage is negative. You will have to figure out Over Voltage, and Over Current on your own. I don't use it. I hope this helps. The instructions provided with the meter are a poor translation of Chinese and make something simple very complicated. see less

The item is perfect! I bought many same, but this is the best for my camper. Some thing is missing from the manual! You can calibrate the current and the voltage zero point. After I install, the meter is not correct, but after I found this setup, everything is good! The calibrate menu is same but the language and wireless channel setup, but is in the upper hidden menu. Thanks again!
