The HDD caddy is applicable to most laptop with thickness of 9.5mm SATA interface, which lets you add a second hard drive to the laptop systems. Simply remove your CD/DVD-ROM drive from the laptop and put the HDD caddy (with the added hard drive) in the position, then you can quickly store and back up important data with the second hard drive. It is compatible with NGFF M.2 B Key SSD of 2230, 2242, 2260 & 2280 size; meanwhile, it supports standard SATA III specification, with 6Gbps data transfer rate. Furthermore, built-in fan is very good for heat dissipation, which effectively prolongs the life-span of elements involved like SSD, laptop.

Features:
This Serial ATA hard drive adapter lets you add a second hard drive to the laptop systems. 
With the second hard drive, you can quickly store and back up important data.
Simply remove your CD/DVD-ROM drive from the laptop and put the HDD caddy (with the added hard drive) in the position.
The thickness of this HDD caddy is 9.5mm, suitable for 9.5mm CD/DVD-ROM.
Support standard SATA III specification: up to 6Gbps data transfer rate, downward compatible with SATA II, SATA I.
