Is this 100% stainless steel? Does this rust?

  • This product is well made and does not rust BUT if washed in a dishwasher using walmart brand dw detergent it will develop a white scale on the inner surface that is difficult to remove. Georgia.....do u think I can use this for pancakes, like where I can put the powder in the pitcher, then addwater n use a whisk to mix batter inside?

  • Ivan, I think that it would pour out the batter very well. My only concern would be powder getting mixed up well enough with the whisk. There is just not a lot of room to move the whisk around through the opening in the top. If there were a way to post a photo of a whisk inside the pitcher, I'd be glad to show you what I mean.
