Size is shown as both 10x11 cm and inches. Which is it? Will it fit in the palm of the hand or is it a desk lamp?

  • It is not a desk lamp, in fact it is not a lamp at all, it is a light that shines on the ceiling and projects a pattern on it, stars, quarter moon etc.

Looking for something like this for a wedding. Would it do for a rather large hall?

  • If it's a large room I'd suggest getting a few, and the lights fade out the further they shine, but they are nice as a night light for kids.

It says multicolored lights. Can it be set for white light only? Why does it have two buttons?

  • Yes, it can be set to white lights only. One button is for turning the twinkling effect on and off, the other is for white or color light control. I hope that helps! I've enjoyed using mine so far.

I had 1 that looked like this and i was able to connect it to the wall outlet with a 4.5v transformer. does this one come wth a plug for ac power?

      At first after opening and inserting batteries. It wouldn't turn on which was one of my biggest worries after reading the reviews and hoping I did not get a defective one. I was flipping it upside down and right side up and I could hear something loose but couldn't see inside. Removed and reinserted batteries and then it worked luckily. I love it :)

      For the price here, 2 star - but I got one at the dollar store - for $1 it's pretty awesome. Now I'm searching amazon for a higher quality one. I suggest you go to Dollar Tree or buy a different one, this isn't worth $10
