No storage on board. Takes up to 128gb, maybe more, micro sd card. Sound is powerful and crisp. Display and menus are kind of primitive.

No, it doesn't do much of anything except play music. No playlists. None of the standard features you'd expect. I am very disappointed in this item. Perhaps I don't know how to use it correctly but I have searched for info on the net and read the user manual. Mine is trash. A minor problem: some flac files cannot be used or hangul (Korean) is displayed. Very demanding with the file format, the pop-up effect in the flac file is very poor. If you use the correct file format, the sound is excellent, the screen is excellent, the battery is excellent and the quality is excellent.

I bought the player a few weeks ago and I am very satisfied with its performance. The X2 has two shocking things, with impressive sound quality and a wonderfully simple chassis. (Aluminum, keep in mind that it is not plastic). The MircoSD memory card, which has absolutely no built-in memory, is a double-edged sword. I found this very convenient because my laptop has a built-in MircoSD slot and it is easy to exchange music and audio files with this device. If you absolutely must have built-in memory, then this product will not work for you. However, this is a simple transition. I don't think there is much difference between the internal memory and the MicroSD, which reduces the possibility of having to discard a fully functional player due to the depletion of the internal memory. (This happened to Sansa Clips.) You cannot over emphasize the sound quality of this player. I was surprised by the clarity and depth of the bass of the sound. Even with a set of low-end senheisser earplugs, the effect is good. With the same headphones, it will blow my mind with my Lenovo laptop and my Droid Ultra Maxx phone. It has stronger audio performance than similar products. A little better than the iPod, much better than the Sansa Clips (even the first original version, black, will not forget the colors of the offspring). However, I did cancel a star because, as another user said, the screen was easily scratched (my biggest complaint was that my screen was really scratched), which was actually a mirror-like surface. It is difficult to see the screen during the day. However, the sound quality is sufficient to compensate for this unfortunate factor.

Update ... still very strong, the battery life is very good! ! ! I have been charging for this since it has been loaded, and it has not been dropped! ! ! I like this XDuoo X2 and I will make a backup copy of another one just in case something happens. I am buying a new mp3 player in the market. I checked several sansa clips and several fuses. I like fuses, but it doesn't have the advantages of X2. Wow, I like its sound and power. I am using a Sony MDR-XB450 headset that can easily push them! ! ! Imagine how loud it is to have a good set of earplugs! ! ! I have to work hard with all kinds of music. It is not difficult to discover these buttons. Do not bother with EQ, it is better not to use it. Find the menu function in a few minutes. Forgot the settings here and there, but I have nothing to worry about. Just because of its simple design and powerful features, I like iPod every day. If you are looking for a player with a ball at a reasonable price, that's it.
