It probably will with modification...but I doubt it will bolt in. I found out the hard way that the motor in this kit is really closer to the size of a 1/14th scale motor. The motor itself is physically larger than a typical 1/18th scale motor and the pinion shaft of the motor is also about twice the size of a normal 3… see more It probably will with modification...but I doubt it will bolt in. The motor itself is physically larger than a typical 1/18th scale motor and the pinion shaft of the motor is also about twice the size of a normal 370 motor. The 25amp kit should bolt right into an 1/18th scale redcat. But be aware that the 25amp kit can only run a 2s Lipo. Hope this helps. see less

I put this in my luctan 9116 and it fits perfect. I am using a 16T pinion gear, with the default tires it can spin out often because of its speed but if you can get it to full throttle on full battery you will get wheelies. The ESC can get hot but never had it burn out, I give it a break every few minutes. I'm sure with a fan it will do great.
