How much weight can this motor handle?

  • It would get warm after a while on my car and it weighs 12lbs on 4s.

hello, which esc you suggest for this motor and which bullet connector size should have the esc?

  • I got this motor because it's for 1/8 scale but it can be mounted onto 1/10 scale to do a conversion.so now it's in my traxxas rustler.I changed the bullet connectors to a 5 mm, I believe to fit on my mamba monster esc. So far it runs great for what it's worth handling up to 6s lipo.

How will i connect the goolrc 120a sensored brushless speed controller esc for 1/8 to this motor?

  • The motor comes with 4mm plugs. Your speed controller will need 4mm female sockets. Some people forgo the connectors and directly solder the motor to the ESC.

      Nothing to dislike, this think is a monster... I new from the get go it was to big for my traxxas slash 4x4... didn't stop me.... it was a dog on 2S, but on 3S it a monster and I can go to 4S love this motor,, oh but drive shafts RIP. JUST WARNING YOU. I new what I was getting into love this thing

      Motor runs 💪 with 2 2s 5000mah 25c batteries, its only been a day 2 battery packs so i will update review after a few runs

      Great motor for the price. Has plenty of torque. Only problem I had was the screws on back of motor worked there way out. But customer service was very nice and took care of my problem.

      very powerful motor! Makes torque like a diesel. very smooth and quiet. seems well made and runs cool. I have not run it past a 3s pack yet but as well as it works I have no doubt it will handle more just fine. I plan to build a monster RC truck with two of these so I will be buying more soon! You would be hard pressed to find a motor this cheap anywhere else that is this powerful and well made.

      Good motor. I put it in my 1/10 Monster Slash with a 120a esc on 3s with 18/54 32p gears. Powers it good. Not as powerful as my Castle 2200kv, but for the price you can't go wrong. I also run a Goolrc 5200kv in a slash and it's a awesome motor.
