In real world power out is 15W per channel and sub with 22V can squeeze 20W Sound is impressive in sub woofer side but full range sound on higher range not than great and can be corrected by using preamp with tone controls. For ,I may say, under budget amp is excellent and can be used on variety of projects

I bought this amplifier to power speakers that I was putting in an old arcade machine. Most of the reviews here already tell you what you need to know, so I'll just mention the thing that made the most difference to me. The specs say 12-24v input, so I used a 12v PSU that was originally for a set of 2.1 PC speakers and I was initially disappointed. Very large amount of hum even on minimum volume, turning down the "treble" (or whatever the left most knob is for) meant even more white noise from the speakers. So I dug out a 24v PSU that came with a cheap TV soundbar and what a transformation! Treble control works beautifully so I can tune bass levels much more to my liking and there is only the faintest hiss from the speakers during quiet moments. So despite it saying 12-24v, definitely invest in a PSU at the upper end of that scale. One other thing : I do get a noticeable pop when turning the power on and off.

I purchased this mainly out of interest, I had no idea what I was going to use it for, I guess I just wanted to see how it performs for the price against a Denon DRAN-5 I have. Needless to say, with a 12v supply it's volume is lacking in comparison. No doubt a larger power supply would have improved things. However, the volumne was good, I used a sound meter on my iPhone to measure volume at around 84-94 db @ 1 meter with no clear distorting that I could hear. This was wired up to a set of Wharfedale diamond speakers, and for the subwoofer I connected an old woofer from an old dvd surround sound system. The bass I was very impressed with. Within an hour I'd found a use for it. I work from home and my speakers connected to my iMac are some Behringer MS40's, and I'd split the output to one of the speakers and also connected the old sub-woofer I mentioned earlier. I disconnected the woofer, wired a speaker connector onto the supply from the MS40's, connected to this amp and then connected the old sub-woofer to the amp. Now I have a powered sub-woofer which gives off way more bass than I could ever need in this environment. I'll probably come up with a better way to split the supply to the amp, but for the time being this is ideal. For the money you certainly can't complain about this product. I think this would be ideal if you wanted to build speakers in a bathroom or something(but using the more expensive bluetooth version).

Great little amp for the price well made and nice sound.Took a few hours of use before the sound brightened up.it has been placed inside a small speaker cab with left driving the tweeter 40w/8ohm and mid 40w/4ohm and the right driving the mid/bass 40w/8ohm and i have added a woofer 40w/8ohm that i had hanging around into the side of the cab to see how it sounded and am very happy with the sound powered up with 12volt 2 amp supply then tried a 19 volt 4 amp and the difference in output and lower frequencies is much better with a high volt amp supply i am now going to try it with a 24 volt psu but i have read it run's best between 15-20v but just interested to see if there is a noticeable difference in output. runs just warm does get a bit warmer after a few hours of use. all in all great product and recommended.

My initial interest in this amp was sparked by it's component layout. With many TPA3116D2 boards offered, and other sites, components are densely packed around the heat sink. That's bad because class D chips can run hot and need space to dissipate heat. The Kkmoon board has all it's components at a decent distance from the heat sink. That tells me the designer knows his business. Upon receiving the board I connected two spare satellite speakers and PSU. Music was provided by a Ruizu X06 MP3 player (playing FLAC files). Initial impression was a dull sound due to a lack of treble. This was no surprise because class D amps, like all audio equipment, need time to burn-in and give their best. That turned out to be unusually short because a few tracks later treble came to life. I should mention I did not have a sub to hand so I am not yet hearing the full extent of what this amp has to offer. I can tell you mid and high frequency reproduction is as good as I hoped and I expect much more integrated sound when a sub is connected. If you check YouTube you will find reviews of TPA3116D2 boards. A few of the more technical reviews raise concerns about noise floor and biasing and offer solutions. These problems are not evident in the Kkmoon which is another tick in the quality box. Power input range is from 12 to 24 volts and I was surprised to find the amp sounds more settled at 15 volts than 24 volts. That will mean some loss of watts, but anyone looking to drive inefficient speakers should not be looking at class D. No instructions are provided and text silk screened onto the PCB is Chinese. However, most people looking for an uncased amp will know what they are doing anyway. Unexpectedly, three plastic knobs, stand-offs and nuts and washers were included. At £11.90 this amp is one of the best audio bargains I have purchased.

This is a great amp! My suspicions where high and thought the amp was going to be terrible since there are no other reviews, but I took the risk and it paid off. I am using two 4" 4ohm speakers with a 10" 8ohm bass face subwoofer and wow, for the price it delivers over my expectation and would advise anyone who wants a thumping and loud experience to take the risk. I am using a 6A 24v psu to maximise the output wattage and a passive low pass filter and I just can't strain this enough, this amp will surprise you.
