  • Q I was wondering if this will fit a vehicle with a roof rack system that runs across the roof as opposed to rails that run the length of the roof. Have a 2013 Dodge Caravan with roof racks that run across width of van.

can this be used without a roof rack. I am renting a car and not sure if it will have a roof rack.

  • I dont think you can use it without a roof rack. Maybe if you have additional tie downs that you can wrap all the way around and feed through the windows.

      Looks good and works really well. Was perfect for the holidays when going to visit family and the car was loaded with no space inside, having to utilize the roof,it is pretty good and cheap solution for no roof rack cars. Would definitely recommend.
