The photos seem to indicate it's a spinning reel, but the description says baitcasting. I'm guessing it's a spinning reel? Thanks for your time.

      The biggest issue I have is that it seems I was shipped a used model. It has scratches on it and wear. The product itself is not made from the best materials. I will update my review after using it.

      Really bought this as something to mess with while waiting at job sites for materials.. got it laughed about it thinking no way you can fish for much other than bluegill.. well I walked over to the marina and started tossing out a rooster tail lure..well with it's size you have to work on your cast but once you get it you'll get a 25-30 ft cast with a small lure really not bad for this little pole . For size and price it's a decent reel.. and behold on the 3 Rd cast I hooked a fish right away I knew it's gonna break the line the pole something but I wasn't getting this fish.. and to my surprise I played with the drag settings and played the fish out and i still can't believe caught an 18 inch red drum.. I really can't say nothing bad about it

      Was a great gift for my husband to stop during hes work breaks and fish alittle he caught a great amount of fish with this it was easy to assemble and use and storage in hes glove compartment of hes car

      I like this one. Light and small. I put it in my get home bag just in case. I would be very careful reeling in and do not lift your catch with it. But that should be obvious.

      Nice little pole, folds up to about a foot long. Easy for putting in a lunch box for work and go fishing on lunch break. Reel is decent, not a fan of the drag system it seems alil funky but definitely manageable. Love it so far!
