Honestly, pretty much any drill will accept them. As for the RPM, mine is not especially high and handles them quite easily. My drill is a Worx.

I originally ordered these bits to drill deep holes on my midi lathe. They worked well and I used them for subsequence one time projects. I did cut them down (with a hacksaw) for a few more project and they again worked fine. In a few instances I needed to straighten them , this I did easily, by putting them in a chuck an tapping them with a wood mallet until they centered on a target point. I probably only used them 10-12 times so I can't speak for how long they stay sharp but they more then paid for themselves in the times I have used them.

I needed to punch a few holes to secure my 5/16 lag bolts into the wood studs behind 4 inches of stone over a fireplace to mount my new 55 inch television. Only needed to drill 4 holes. A concrete bit got me through the stone. These got me the rest of the way. Worth the price just for those four holes. The drill bits worked perfectly. And now all these drill bits are mine to keep! And my TV is mounted on the stone fireplace! They also come in a numbered soft plastic case for storage (see pic).
