This item can be attached on any type of acoustic instrument equipped with a flat soundboard. Transparent tone is achieved with the transducer for guitar.

Features:
This transducer pickup which has been specially designed for acoustic instruments, is a very little device lets you turn your acoustic into an electro-acoustic, giving your instrument a new lease of life for amplification purposes.
Fit for almost string music instruments such as guitar ,violin ,mandolin ,banjor etc.
Remove the plastic film from the back of the transducer to expose the adhesive.
Place the transducer through the sound hole to the lower part of the front body where the guitar produces the best tonal response.
Be sure to remove any dust before placing pickup will reproduce a full, natural, transparent tone.
Pickup senses the microvibrations of a soundboard.

does it come with a nut for the jack?

  • I am not sure the picture is so poor that's it's impossible to tell just from that picture. But if it doesn't you have a real problem trying to find a matching washer and nut to secure it to your guitar or whatever you are using it for. I have been building cigar box guitars for quit a while and I buy mine from eBay which costs less and come complete with nut and washer. There are even some that come prewired with volume and tone control if you are handy those work well. If you need a simple pickup then try eBay, they all come from China,.       I added this piezo pickup to the position of my ultralight's neck, giving me the bridge's original sound and a softer tone. The volume is lower and the volume is lower and can be maintained now. This makes it easier for guitars to carry guitar and play.
