By Lara on May 12, 2018
As far as I know the old radio won't work with the new receivers but the new radio FSia6b will work with the old receivers.

Yes, FlySky is the radio manufacturer for Turnigy. It will work with all the i-series transmitter.

Yes it can connect. Make sure you've got the naze board programmed correctly and you're using the correct plugs(cppm/pwm/s-bus).

This seems more like a statement than a question. There are a few parameters and possible wiring to configure...What radio controller are you using? What Flight Controller and software running? Basically, what's your setup (all components)?

Yes, that's the only receiver I use in all my planes, both nitro and electric.

I have a love/hate relationship with this receiver. It's the only compatible PPM receiver for the Flysky-I6, it's a bit bulky, it's hard to depin and the antennas can break off easily if not placed right during a crash. On the flip side, I have never lost connection and I've flown to the edge of my video reception .

These took a long time to arrive, but it was expected as they shipped from overseas. I am very surprised in the quality of the item. They are smaller and thinner than the brand name, but I can't complain for the price. If there is anything I would change, it would be how they are shipped. I couldn't open the packaging without ripping a couple of the erasers.

This is a great receiver, but i'm a bit disappointed how big it is. would really like FlySky to make a smaller receiver with PPM. This is a good receiver, and worked well, but I needed to return it because it does not fit well in my 210. As much as I'd like to use this receiver I'm stuck with the FS-ia6 for now.

I have owned a couple of these. Good receiver for the beginner. Easy to bind if you have some experience. If not just look up how to use a bind plug. People don't buy a bind plug. You can make you own with a servo and a piece of wire. I do however really like the idea of two antenna leads.
