This entry has some undocumented receiver limitations. It works well in a hobby receiver, but when it flies in the air, movies often appear on the surface, so I don't trust flying. In Rx, the control is sometimes not set to neutral after initialization. This usually shows, and I disconnected and initialized again without problems. I still use it on a wing with a gopro camera.

This thing is so great. For the Price I now own 2 and they just improve the smoothness and stability of your aircraft so much. Just put it in between your receiver and your servos. Comes with convenient short cables. Just be sure it's set up so as to dampen outside forces not worsen them in a positive feedback loop. The control surfaces should point in the direction they are moving. right wing up? Right aileron up. If you move the tail up, the elevator should move up... etc.

Great performance. Low rate helps us to stay straight in a windy day. High rate helps our planes stay in an aerobatic move in the air. CH2 comes opposite than our plane's movement. I had to program it to reverse it. Programming is easy for a tech guy. Each time you trim the controller, you have to re-calc the center, which is done by flipping the hi/off/low control quickly 2 to 3 times in a second.

This thing is amazing and amazingly easy to use. I have am this in a HobbyKing Mini Skywalker and the P1 is the perfect size for it. I don't use rudder on the skywalker and use the tiny Frsky D4r-ii receiver and the P1 might as well have been designed to specifically work with it. Both are extremely light weight as easy to use. Unlike many other gyros the P1 can reset center position mid flight so your trims don't mess up AVCS mode and the airplane just behaves exactly how you want in any condition. I wish someone would take this unit and add a basic gps rth function. It would make the perfect system for general fpv in smaller planes.

This little boy works surprisingly well for the price. I received it yesterday, had a bit trouble installing the unit but after 20 minutes everything was set. I set the sensitivity at about almost 3/4. Tested and flew it today at ~12mph wind and man my glider handled so much better under the wind. I will update in the future regarding the reliability of the product. But so far I really like it for the price.

Fast shippinng, exactly as advertised. Unit is very small and light. Included all cables to hookup to my SLT receiver. Simple to install. I installed the hardware in about 10 minutes. Servo reversing is done through firmware and took some time to get the seqence down. I used my "FLAPS" channel to switch the unit. I"m able to switch between off, Normal, and 3D while in the air, from my transmitter. You can adjust the amount of assistane for each channel using the pots. I was surprised to find no servo "twitching", even at higher pot levels. You can also reset the gyros to level in the air by switching between 3D and normal quickly. I use this in a J3 Cub, as it likes to ground loop on takeoff. This keeps it straight down the runway. It also allows me to fly straight and level when the wind picks up. That adds to the number of days I can fly. For 3D, it holds the last attitude. I'm ordering 2 more to fit into other models. At this price, I can have the option of using it without having to move it from one plane to another. Time will tell about durability, but I installed and flew it in one day and, so far, I love it!
