These work flawlessly! Had to look up a YouTube video to walk me through the functions, but they work really well for a whole lot less money than Pocket Wizards.

OMG is pretty much all i have to say about this kit deal. I got this kit to pair with my D7100 and YN568EX speed light and i have to so i am very glad i didn't fall for the trappings of "well known name brands" too many times people into more serious photography insist that they have to by the absolute most expensive gear or they will be missing out on functionality, but on the contrary, in the instance of these triggers you actually get a lot more value and functionality than you would if you settled into something much more expensive and "well known brands". They are WELL BUILT. The TX sits well on top of my DSLR and is not too big to where i feel like i basically have the speed light mounted on there. The 622N is pretty much the exact same size so no issues there. The battery life for both of the units is pretty damn amazing. i have had the same battery's in there since i bought these and have not had to recharge them yet, and i shoot with these every single day for at least a total of 5 hours daily. Paired with my YN568EX i can easily access ALL of the flashes settings from the TX units menu mounted on top of my hot shoe with ease. I plan on getting a second YN622N for an other speed light i have very soon :)

Love my new Yongnuo wireless I TT L. I have used it on 2 portrait shoots and it worked perfectly every shot. I do not know how I got along without it before now.

Generally I am not a flash photography enthusiast but this flash unit has changed my mind. After using it for about 6 months I am now starting to use it more often to improve the shots I take. I am certainly not a professional photographer but an avid amateur. I use a cropped sensor Nikon 5300 and a Tamron 16-300 lens most of the time. When I started shopping for a flash unit I wanted one that was pretty smart. I like to "stumble on" neat scenes and just pull out the camera shoot. Having to fiddle with lots of flash settings, at least like I did in the days of 35mm film, was not much fun and I missed some shots. As DSLR cameras began to have very high ISO settings available flash, for me, became less important. This unit lets you pull out the camera, slide on the flash unit, and start shooting. It automatically sets it self to match the current zoom on my Tamron lens as well as the current shooting mode on the camera. I am sure I could study the settings and make some improvements under some conditions but in general it just works. Most of the time I set either automatic aperture or shutter priority depending on what I am trying to accomplish with the flash shot. This unit does great fill flash when you have some existing light. It also does a great job on closer portrait type shots. I recently wanted to take a picture of an ikebana arrangement my wife had made. Ikebana is generally pretty sparse. This one had a small hawthorn branch with red berries that made the composition pretty challenging since it was not easy to capture the arrangement and minimize the background. I decided to set up a black cloth background and use flash. The results were great. With out any fiddling on the flash unit my first shot highlighted the dark brown brach against the black background perfectly and the single white chrysanthemum was also exposed well. The low shiny black plastic container had an interesting reflection highlight created by the flash unit. It only took a couple of hand held shots adjusting the zoom to get what I wanted which became a photo on some notecards that I printed myself. The remote wireless unit also helps create some interesting shots. You can put the flash behind your subject and back light it with flash. This unit does NOT require line of sight to flash when using the remote mode like some infrared units. Mount the flash on your tripod and put it out of the scene to the side and behind or just lay it on the ground and flash upward behind your subjects. If you are considering a flash unit I think this unit would work for a pro or an amateur like me who likes to concentrate on the subject not the camera and flash settings. Highly recommended.

The perfect way to control your Flash. What can this do? Of course you can wirelessly trigger TTL flashes with full TTL functions, as well as remotely control power and flash zoom settings. Shooting with off-camera TTL flash is incredibly easy. It used to be a huge job, especially outdoors, when you had to get a light meter, adjust your camera, to the flash, not the flash to the camera, and it was a hassle. NO MORE! Say goodbye to manual mode, or having to have NIKON Speedlites only,=or any proprietary stuff again for that matter, ie the same brand of flashes for slave and master etc, NO MORE. Never again worry about setting values on your camera so your flash photos are exposed properly. This thing works, and has LCD reliable wireless radio-based TTL triggering and remote power control in a tiny package. Functions Wireless 2.4GHz which is much better than 433Mhz ==the crowded frequency loaded with car remotes, business radios, and all kinds of "flash triggering' devices. When you read a review that says, "it worked 2 days perfectly, then I had a big outdooor wedding and the flash either went off when it wanted to or woudn't work when I needed it to. (I can just about guarantee you that this reviewer had a 433Mhz system--it was being interferred with by who knows what.) What you can do with this that you could not do with out or with other system: TTL and Manual Flash Triggering Remote power control of groups (A/B/C) in TTL with +/- EV adjustments Mix TTL and Manual flash fire some groups in TTL, others as manual. Remote power control in A:B ratio modes with +/- EV adjustments High speed sync shutter speeds up to 1/8000 sec. Second curtain sync functions And more. I love that I can set up my flashes around the room, and magically call them into action =groups a, b, c when shots or situations arise. Its a great way to get candid shots with speed and agility.

I received these about a 2 weeks ago. After purchasing the YN-622N-TX and the YN-622N kit and using it for about a week, I bought 2 more transceivers. So far these things have done everything they are supposed to do. I've tested HSS, TTL and manual. Everything synced up immediately and worked perfectly. These triggers appear fairly well made and are fairly easy to use. The only tiny pain point are the knobs used to tighten them onto the hotshoe feel like they need a little lubrication when they are all the way up or down. I guess it's just the plastic binding a little bit. It's not a big deal, but it was enough for me to notice. First thing I did when I got the TX was install the firmware. This was the worst part of the whole experience. That was because the download is overseas and it took about an hour and quite a few attempts to get the fairly small updater and new ROM downloaded. Once I got past that, the installer worked fine and I was updated to the latest firmware. Keep in mind it does NOT come with a USB cable. So far, no significant complaints. Love these triggers!

Works like it should at a much lower price point. I was a little disappointed when I received it and the transmitter does not sit vertical on the camera. It is a minor convenience for the most part, but when you are setup on a tripod with the camera at eye height, it is inconvenient. I am still happy with it, of course, but that could have been corrected for use in the vertical position so that you can set and read the display. It was given 4 stars simply because you cannot see the display when the camera is at height.

After a few weeks I can say these are reliable, solid performers and well worth the money. At a fraction of the cost of similar items, I've had no issues. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

I had these and other YN622N receivers. I used the YN568 flashes with them. They did work iTTL, but had serious preflashes. I might as well use flash based creative lighting. I returned all the YN622N remotes and YN568EX Flashes. I loose TTL and High Speed Sync, and replaced with cheaper YN560-TX and YN560 III flashes. One more flash for less money and no receiver needed.

I have been very pleased with these triggers. They work, as promised, without question. I am using these triggers and a small softbox to give a bit of directional light when shooting reception photos for weddings. Lighting changes don't matter with TTL. I have been using cybersyncs for Paul Buff but like the added functionality these add.

This is a great example of how the engineers at Yongnuo saw a void in the market and filled it - wireless iTTL that just plain works, with all the customization you need at your fingertips (and it doesn't stick 5" up off the camera like some other brands). In my case, this is being used with a Nikon D5000, D7000, and 2 SB-600s, With the latest firmware, I rarely have any missed flashes (and when it does, a simple push of the test button gets everything going again). For an advanced hobbyist like me, these things are perfect. For a pro (or even semi-pro), they might not be reliable enough, but might be a good foot in the door or backup to the more expensive units. I have been using them for a while now, and they are just fantastic.
