Featuring multi-channel triggering, stable signal transmission, and sensitive reaction, it gives photographers unparalleled flexibility and control over their strobist setups.
The transceiver is suitable for hotshoe-mounted Canon EOS series cameras.
With CellsⅡ-C, high-speed synchronization is available for most of studio flashes in the market.
The max. flash synchronization speed is up to 1/8000s*.
Speedlites and high-speed studio flashes** can also achieve high speed synchronization when used with specific models from Canon EOS cameras.
Not all camera-flash combinations can achieve high speed synchronization.
(* 1/8000s is achievable when the camera has a max camera shutter speed of 1/8000s. 1/8000s is not achievable because some models of Canon EOS cameras has a max camera shutter speed of only 1/4000s; ** High-speed studio flashes refer to those having a flash duration shorter than 1/2000s and adopting IGBT technology.)

I have a canon 580 ex i and a yongnuo 560ii speedlites. i am not getting either flash to fire. would it work if i had a sync cord attached?

  • As long as you can attach a PC cord to the flashes that should work. I use these to trigger my alien bees studio strobes. Triggering the flashes should be no problem.

  • If you go into the menu of the camera and the speedlite, I'm sure you can set the program to do what you need.

is one unit enough for triggering camera and one off-camera flash simultaneously in wireless manner?

  • Sounds like you need 2 units. Depending on your set up. You need one to transmit the signal to camera and flash and one to receive. Reciver can set off both camera and flash depending on your setup.

      Works well have used these for a couple of months in studio and on location. The HSS does work on my canon 5d III. You do have to know how to set it up though. They have missed a couple of times but every wireless system will miss occasionally. I shot the HSS with a Cheetah 180 light and a godox 360 shot at 1/800s and no problem. I like the versatility they offer as well and do plan to order some more. If you are doing HSS with godox lights use the USB receiver on your light and set mode to HSS.

      This was a nice alternative to the much more expensive units. I don't need it often, so the price was attractive. I had to get several cords so I could swap with multiple cameras, but worked perfect.
