No clue if it'll fit on a 940, but it did go on an old 80's-90's SS-420 no problem for me.

No clue mang, it's a pretty generic size (the hole for the crank-handle bolt in it) and fitted on my old early 90's SS420, so it might. Even if it doesn't, you could just put it on another cheapo baitshop beater baitcast reel like I did for 5-20# river-catting while smallie fishin' or whatever else you target.

Just got my new power handle. Shipped promptly faster than was told. Looks very good. Replaced Abu Garcia 6500 reel handle with this. It fits just fine . The only thing was the small screw that holds the plastic cover to the reel handle nut did not match. I still like it. Would by again.
