I haven't had the opportunity to use this on the water yet, but its construction and functionality appear to be quite good. If I find out that it doesn't hold up well under use or that it corrodes from rain exposure, I'll update this review. So far, it functions as I expected and seems to have a very strong gripping strength.

I have many of these. The size is just right they are light weight and very durable. I keep one hanging from the front of my shirt one hanging on my tackle box, in the truck, on the boat, they grip tight and they don't tear the lip of the fish. Don't be afraid to purchase you'll love them.
