There is no pair button it's a function controlled from the monitor they are pre set from the manufacturer to work on the same signal.

Because of the hassle of connecting to the camera battery to recharge it, I had to move the camera from where I had it mounted on my front door, to a side wall of my entryway where I could leave it plugged into wall outlet. From that position I can view about 46" horizontally at a distance of 6' from the camera.
