Runs very small. My husband normally wears a L, and the XXL in this is smaller than all of his shorts. The waistband is quite stretchy so hopefully it will work. Something in the description made me think there was a liner, but these don't have a liner or any padding or anything, they're just the outer shorts.

FYI...the description is misleading, no pad of any kind in these shorts. You'll need padded shorts underneath. You get what you pay for, not bad. Sizing is ridiculous. I am 6', 180, very lean, small waist, big cyclist quads and rear. I need a belt on Levi's 32" waist. Bought XL, basically a good fit. Light, relatively airy, decent material, decent construction.
