For cables like battery cables you need the CC650 that is from Hantek!!

Normal starter draw is usually around 100 amps with a high spike on initial turn on, athough i have seen youtube seminar videos that show an 80A pickup being used, the cc65 however can be used for lower amperage circuit/motor testing... Fuel pump... Window motors, fuel injectors

The size of the circular openings is about 10mm in diameter. Accuracy would be affected if the jaws are not fully closed. Hope this has answered your question.

hi..where did you saw such information? this current clamp meassure AMPS ( 20Ma to 65A) not volts or millivolts. I used it with my oscilloscope and DSO with great success.
