I bought the cubot s550 pro a little while back and when my wide needed a new phone decided to go for this. Spec wise it is outstanding for the money and the build quality is also excellent. Runs quickly, handles all apps with ease and can accept micro SD to bump up the memory. Camera Good, all on all very pleased.

I have used it for half a year and it always worked absolutely reliably and smoothly. All apps too. It is solidly built and esthetically pleasing, it looks good and not at all cheap. The only disadvantage is the battery. I had to carry a power bar with me, just in case. That was not a problem, though.

This is a lovely android phone to use an a backup. I have a iphone 6s but its very limited in what types of apps I can use therefore, I bought this cubot (my second cubot phone) i use this phone to watch films on. Defo worth the £65. My first cubot phone I bought back in 2015 lasted me two and a half years the phone still works but the charging but doesnt. So i bought abother one! Defo happy with my purchase

Great product just set it up and it was ready to go. Really fast phone the 3Gb of working RAM makes it very quick to load apps and Google Chrome runs well. I would recommend this phone to anyone looking to buy a 4G handset very good value for money. I am looking forward to using the camera on holiday this August should get some awesome pictures.

For the price this device is AMAZING. In comparison to others that you may have had you may find it slower or more complicated, but not by much. Cubot have made a lot of strides to become more accessible and get official backing from google, which equates to play store access. The phone has a lot of horsepower and a decent sized screen this is something that could easily become a day to day phone or a backup with a excellent battery in it coupled with its minimalist basic android operating system it can last all day and then some...

ok, so 4 stars is pretty high, but I am reviewing based on what I went in knowing about this phone. My fiance dropped her phone so needed a replacement but without spending much as she has broken a few recently. I knew a bit about these Chinese phones and had heard good things...most of them are made in the same factories as the likes of Apple right? For 60 quid, this does exactly what you need and more. Yes, there are a few issues but none of them are bad enough to not use the phone. This review is mostly focuses on the cons, as there aren't actually that many. Overall, I have to be impressed with what you get at this price range. Cons - battery is big, yes, but it doesn't really last longer than a day. My finacy uses her phone quite heavily, so in my book a day is absoloutly fine but for her is probably not long enough - the size of this battery does mean the phone is on the heavier side - The phone does run well, but does struggle on certain apps, specifically Instagram - After being used as a sat nav with Google maps for about an hour, the phone over heated and Google maps crashed. The app restarted fairly quickly so we could live with it.
