Pros: This remote works really well if you use Windows. I purchased it to use with Linux in a MythTV environment, and had less success there. This sensor registers itself as a HID device, as opposed to a IR sensor. This makes the OS think it's a mouse with a lot of buttons. While it is possible to get Linux to work like this, there are other choices which are better for just a little bit more money.
Cons: Good in windows, should be improved
Bottomline: Overall, I like the size of the sensor, and if I was using this on a Windows machine, it would have worked perfectly.

Pros: This is such a great remote. I was using a wireless keypad to control my media center. After I started using this life is so much easier. It works great. Has all the functionality I need. I would definitely recommend this product.
Cons: I have been using the remote for 1 week so I cannot comment on battery life or longevity of the remote. Hope it will be fine!
Bottomline: If you are buying this for purely Windows Media Center, than go for it. It's a great deal. If you want something more out of your remote, then look elsewhere.

Pros:
Cheap and fast, I like. Windows 7 32 and 64: plug in the USB IR receiver, drivers load automatically, it works in seconds.
Media Center fully supported and smooth.
Cons:
Power button: Its too small and is located right next to another button the same exact size. The power button should be bigger.
Bottomline:
This remote control worked right out of the box. Very simple and easy to use. I am finding lots of uses for it. It needs a more comprehensive manual. All in all works fine for the good price. Mouse function awkward and stiff. (Posted on 12/7/10)

Pros:
So I bought this remote with the intent of only using it's IR receiver and programming my Harmony one to control Windows 7 Media Center 64 bit. I found out, however, that the remote isn't in Logitech's remote database, and also doesn't seem to use the generic Microsoft codes that most remotes use. That's fine.
Cons:
The only probe is that It cannot be remapped to work for a custom program .
Bottomline:
Works from anywhere in my room, even if it's not pointed at the IR receiver! Best price of all the remotes too! recommended! (Posted on 12/7/10)
