The real deal. Beware of fakes! This thing is legit asf Get yourself a $10 computer fan to keep it cool while charging so it lasts forever. It doesn’t get that hot so you probably don’t need a fan but I recommend getting one. Take care of it and it’ll last years

I had one that was basically dead out of the box, but returned and the replacement is fantastic. Comes with several connection types and love the aligator clip charging option (though dangerous ha) its great for people like me. The Charger does Get hot, and does not have a Fan, but you can monitor the temp from the App, and it does tell you to wait between cycles. I like the fact it doesnt have a fan running constantly, however in the case I need to keep it going non stop I did add a little 5v fan to the side of the charger basically take one screw out of the top left corner on the side that has the USB connection and then use a long plastic screw to go through the little 5v fan housing and back into the charger. Cut a USB cable and tied into the 5v power supply from the computer and used a balance lead so I can unplug it if I don't need the fan running. Next step I will get a thermostat to auto engage the fan, but its easy enough just to unplug it, I may also add a hellgate buzzer onto the thermostat and have it kick on the buzzer if temps get too crazy, but those are just tinker minded add ons, Really not necessary. If you are not pushing the thing it stays within a reasonable temp and is actually cooler than others I have used. This is the best charger I have ever owned simply for the app. One thing that I miss on the app (unless I just cant figure it out) the app doesn't allow you to do a resistance check) you have to manually scroll to that on the machine. (correct me if I am wrong) furthermore that is just software, that could easily be updated in the future. the button clickers are not the highest quality, so I do suggest long term using the PC to control it, that way less wear and tear on the buttons.

A nice balance between economy and value charger, but at six amps max you have better not have a large pack to charge else it may be an all nighter. And for multiple packs, you may want to consider the dual pack chargers that do more watts to reduce charge times

I used this charger to revive my civic hybrid battery sticks. Some say this is a temporary fix but so far the hybrid pack hasn't thrown any IMA lights for the past 3 (cold) months. The car picked up tons of power but it's still slow compared to my RS3. I used to get 30mpg city and after reviving the battery, I hover around 48mpg.

These work great...I have an authentic one btw.... But- as good as it is, when you first start using it , it can be complicated. even the manual isn't all that easy to follow. But- if ya want your batteries to be healthy ya need one. it works great once ya get the hang of it.

Never purchase one of the "Clones" you will be disappointed, this unit works GREAT! Just charged close to half a kilowatt of Lipo on balance at 2.5 amp and it performed flawlessly and did not overheat.

Charges my R/C batteries in a third of the time as factory supplied charger. Not to mention the versatility in types of batteries it'll charge.

Seems to be a decent enough charger. I bought one of those chargers that looks identical to this, but did not have a power source. it was defective from the factory so I sent it back and got this "guaranteed original". I've been charging 1.6mah . 7.4 V lipo batterys packs with this every day now and also 5400mah 7.4 packs. I also charged a 11.1V 3C pack. everything seems to work very well. Easier to use than cheaper knockoffs with more features. I'm charging at maximum but not quick charge.Seems to be a decent enough charger I bought one of those chargers that looks identical to this but did not have a power source it was defective from the factory so I sent it back I've been charging 1.6mah, 7.4 V lipo battery packs with this every day now and also 5200mah 7.4 packs. I also charged a 11.1V, 3C pack. everything seems to work very well. I'm charging at maximum recommended, but not quick charging. It takes a little over an hour to charge the 5200mah batteries. I recomend buying all-like lipos and adding the parallel charging board. Don't forget the lipo safety bag as well.

Best I can tell SkyRC bought/absorbed/killed the originator of the IMAX B6 charger. Then, they were knocked off by dozens of mainland China clones. They all look like and are sold as authentic but they are not. I bought this authentic SkyRC for $50. I also bought 2 DC-powered knock-offs for $15 ea. I have used all three extensively. I guess to avoid copyrights or patents, or maybe because it's cheaper, the clones do not put out as much charging current as the skyrc when storing. Also, they won't do anything with a dead 18650, which the Skyrc will revive using NiMH charging to 2-1/2V followed by LiIon charging. If you need to have max capability buy only SkyRC, or mix and match and save a few bucks.

Works great. Balance the Lipo nicely and safely. This is genuine SkyRC unit, not the fake one that can be dangerous.
