The UP100AC DUO charger is a twin AC/DC charger with 100W and 50W power for channel 1 and channel 2. It features intelligent power control function: 1. The output power base on the principle of channel 1 + channel 2 = 100Watt. 2. If only one channel is used, the output power come from channel 1 can approach to MAX. 100 watt, channel 2 can approach to MAX. 50 watt. 3. If both channels are used, the output power of channel 1 equals 100 watt minus output power of channel 2. 4. Start channel 2 while channel 1 is using fully 100 watt,the output power of channel 1 will be reduced accordingly. Each channel is capable of charging all types batteries.

Does this charge a 4s cell lipo

  • Yes it does charge 4s cell LIPO. It has the capability of up to 6s LIPO. Best to use the balance option to charge any LIPO.

Will this be able to charge a 12S pack using the two 6S channels at the same time, or will that be a short? (I have a central lead, obviously)

A

  • No, it would still max out at 24v. If u can't break them down to 2 6s then u need a 12s charger to get the 48v u need. So avoid damaging batteries or catching them on fire by finding a 12s charger.

Can this charge high voltage lipo batteries? often called lihv, where its 4.3v per cell instead of the usual 4.2.

  • If you purchase from us, Dirt Cheap RC, then yes, there is LiHV mode.

Can i charge my 2s batteries like "lectron pro 7.4 volt - 950mah 30c lipo pack" with the provided cables?

  • Those batteries tend to have a JST plug on them. You would need a Deans Female to JST adapter as this charger only comes with Deans Plugs.

Will this measure internal resistance

  • No it does not. A great alternative/companion is the Hobbymate Smart Battery Meter. It measures many things, including Internal resistance. And it's pretty inexpensive, under $10.

I want to be able to charge 2 2s (7.4v, 2,000mah) and 6 1s (3.7v, 700mah). What parallel board(s) would you recommend for use with this unit?

  • If you parelled the 1s to 6s you might be able to charge at 3 amp? 6x 700 is 4200 I would check with local hobby shop before you try it though

  • Actually,UP100AC Duo Dual 2 Port Balancing Battery can't work with xt90,but work with xt60

      I purchased this charger to balance charge 2 batteries for my RC cars at the same time.Came with a UK power lead, which others didn't. Price was very good. Deans power leads and balance boards all provided.Instructions are also very clear, which was a surprise.Does everything i need it too, very pleased. Excellent charger that hasn't broken my bank.Fast, tracked delivery as well.
