if it's a 1.5 crop factor like a apsc then yes it should work as a 55 mm equivalent. I own this lens and love it. Fairly sharp. It doesn't have the most aperture blades though so the Bokeh looks a bit cheesy with super busy backgrounds such as forests.

Will fit and function just fine with the X-A3 as it uses Fuji's standard X-Mount. Of course, it will be manual focus only which will require you to turn the focus ring and view the image on the camera's LCD screen to ensure the image is focused. I believe the X-A3 has the same focus peaking capability as all other Fujifilm digital camera in that it highlights the portions of the scene on the LCD that will be in focus based on the current focus setting. I use this lens on my older X-E2 with great results. see less
