This thing is a beast!!!! I have several other quads and this one by far is my favorite. This is more of an intermediate quad because it takes a little bit more to control it. Super fast and impressive to watch. only reason I give it four stars is because it doesn't have an on and off switch

Great quad copter. Make sure you break in the motors. To do this you set it on a table or the floor and just put the throttle at about 13% and minute by minute go up in percent by about 2. I had a crash where i flew it up into a very tall tree and i kept doing throttle up and down so that it would continue to fall. It fell from 25 yards up in the tree on to a concrete drive way. One of the props broke at the base and one of the gear shafts bent slightly. Also one of the motors is acting strange. Over all it is a good Large quad. By the way it is 2 feet from front left arm to back right arm.

I wanted a powerful drone without a camera for recreational outdoor flying. I have a Blade Nano QX for indoor fight, but any amount of wind is too much for it, and it doesn't have much range. The Tarantula X6 has range to spare (it goes far enough to make me nervous), and is big enough/strong enough that it can fly in even a brisk breeze. My only real gripe is it could yaw (change direction) faster, but that's a minor complaint. Others have mentioned the lack of an on/off switch, which would be really convenient, but it's not a deal breaker.

This quadcopter is very nice. The build quality seems decent for the price and it flies amazingly well. In expert mode, this thing can go extremely fast and I got it past 200 meters without losing the signal. It can also carry an action camera, but doesn't come with a mount. One thing to keep in mind, though, is the screws that hold the props on. You need to periodically check them to make sure that they are not damaged. If a prop has ever hit something the screw may have been damaged. A damaged screw may split in half when the rotors are spinning. If this happens while flying, the quadcopter will spiral and fall to the ground. It is important to make sure the screws are always in good condition. Thankfully, this quadcopter came with plenty of screws.

The X6 seems to be the one of the best for under $100 with crazy power, range, agility, and stability. Cons cheap feel to the plastic flimsy blade guards and landing gear however that may be the price to pay for this performance. Haven't crashed it yet and I've got about 20 flights. Dropped the controller the first day and broke both control levers and there seems to be no way to get replacements without buying another controller (control levers are not 2 piece like some other brands difficult to fix). Unless you can speak or type Chinese don't even bother trying to find help on the JHRC website. Really Needs a Power Switch!!! Overall a great Quad though.
