Is there any rubber ring inside the clamp which protects the frame as well as adds friction in between two metals?

can this be mounted to carbon seat post

  • You should be able to. The bracket clamps in place (it does not require a bolt or screw to fasten) . Take care not to tighten too much as you risk cracking the carbon fiber.

      My son has a full suspension bike and doesn’t have any attach points for a bottle holder. This worked perfectly. Make sure the seat isn’t all the way down so there is room to put the bottle in.

      only downside is its off center if used sideways, not the direction the photos show otherwise clamps tight and does not budge or wiggle

      The only drawback was that it didn't fit on my handlebars with out adding felt pads to fill the diameter of the handlebars. It fit perfectly on my seat post.

      I've only got a couple hundred miles with these so far, and I'm only using 600ml bottles, but they are holding steady so far.

      Better than those I tried before it. It still tends to loosen at the cage mounts so you have to regularly tighten your water bottle holder. To be fair I carry a large bottle so it's under more than the average load.

      Looks of high quality stuffs, just didn't work for me. It would definitely work great for you if you have a place to mount it, just that I have no room, even on my handlebar where I think it would fit. Check the diameter of where you plan to mount this adapter to make sure. Quality is in par with K-Edge products, but way cheaper.

      This water bottle holder is very well designed. It is strong and can be configured in different ways to fit almost everywhere. It has been on my bike for over 300 miles now and is still rock solid, a great buy that should last a very long time.
