Observe battery condition on the tester scale. When testing 9 volt rectangular batteries, touch the battery terminals to the 9V contact points on the side of the tester

    Love this one, I purchased 8 of them, given to friends and family. Easy to use, and I like the spring that puts pressure on the terminals of the batteries being tested. Other makes and models do not, and I have to do too much juggling to get those other brands to work, holding battery and tester both ... this is, in my opinion, the superior design, and all work about the same, so why not own the better design ?

    I really do love it. Obsessive on my part, but no battery is thrown out unless it is OUT of power. Weaker batteries can be used in my portable radios.
