Totally using these on my cinema builds, most notably on my Mini Ursa 4.6k rig. I can power my external monitor, or phone whilst still using my camera, works with battery pack on or off, I have this attached right on the back plate. This is a good unit in order to also power external hard drives, instead of using Cfast 2.0 cards. Another reason I like it its because it stays on solid, even when pulling cables. As far as build quality - its a solid light plastic shell, I have no concerns because I usually buy multiple in the event they may brake or get lost. I just keep it right on my battery plate, never take it off because it also has a Dtap on the bottom so there's no need to remove it at all. Great to have that option without blocking the dtap connection as well. Really happy with the product, so far no issues yet, will update if it ever brakes.
